PES or BXPES works natively on all Brother machines. BX works in Embrilliance or Hatch software with a Brother connection.
Janome

VP3 or JEFVP3 is the native format for all modern Husqvarna Viking machines. JEF works on most models too.

Are these fonts compatible with Brother embroidery machines?
Yes. Download the PES file for direct use on any Brother or Babylock machine (PE800, SE700, SE1900, LB7000 and more), or use the BX file in Embrilliance/Hatch with a Brother connection.
Do the fonts work on Janome machines?
Yes. Janome machines (MC9450, MC500E, MC15000, NS2750D) read JEF natively. DST is included as a universal fallback for older Janome models.
Which format works on the most machines?
DST (Tajima) is the most universal embroidery format — it runs on virtually every home and commercial machine ever made. If you are unsure which format your machine needs, start with DST.
