What you can and cannot do with fonts generated on this platform.
Free Plan License
Fonts generated under the Free plan are licensed for personal use and small-scale commercial use. This includes:
- Embroidering physical goods for personal use
- Selling hand-embroidered physical goods you create yourself
- Gifts and non-commercial projects
- Small-batch production (under 100 units per design per year)
Pro Plan License
The Pro plan grants a full commercial license. This includes everything in the Free plan, plus:
- High-volume production with no unit cap
- Reselling the generated digitized font files (BX, PES, DST, etc.)
- Using fonts in commercial embroidery services and production runs
- Corporate branding and uniform production
What You Can Sell
Free plan: You may sell the physical embroidered goods you create — apparel, home goods, gifts, etc. You may not resell the raw digitized files.
Pro plan: You may sell both physical goods and the digitized font files themselves. If you operate an embroidery file shop (e.g., on Etsy or your own site), the Pro plan covers your commercial distribution.
Restrictions (All Plans)
- You may not claim ownership of the underlying font designs
- You may not use generated files to train AI or machine learning models
- You may not redistribute fonts in bulk as a competing font service
- Fonts may not be used in hate speech, discriminatory, or illegal content
Attribution
Attribution is not required. You are not required to credit EmbroideryFontGenerator.com on goods you sell or produce.
